1 Dec 2013 – 30 March 2014 Zambezi Basin Five Rivers Safari

The following Camp in western Zambia, Namibia’s Caprivi Strip and Botswana have joined in cooperation as the very first step towards the formation of a Transfrontier Park envisaged within the Zambezi Basin area. The participating camps and lodges are as follow:

  • Victoria Falls – Livingstone: Stanley Safari Lodge - 10 private cottages bordering the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, with a view over the spray of the Victoria Falls in a distance
  • Elephant Safari Camp - 10km downriver from Vic Falls
  • Caprivi Region: Susuwe Island Lodge
  • Kwando/ Linyanti region: Kwando Lagoon Camp and  Kwando Lebala Camp 
  • Okavango Delta: Kwara Camp; Pom Pom Camp
  • N'xai Pan - Kwando Nxai Pan Camp
  • Central Kalahari Game Reserve: Tau Pan Camp
2013-2014 Prices $390 per person per night, including full board luxury double accommodations, park fees, game activities. Intercamp flight transfers are extra [about $180 - $280 per transfer]

8 nights Moremi / Linyanti / Nxai Pan

 
 Days 1-3 Met at Maun and light aircraft transfer to Kwando Kwara Camp or Xakanaxa Camp. 3 nights exploring the Okavango and Moremi Game reserves.
Days 4-6 Light Aircraft transfer to Kwando Lagoon or Kwando Lebala Camp and 3 nights exploring the Kwando reserve
Days 7-9 Light Aircraft transfer to N'xai Pan National Park and 2 nights at Kwnado Nxai Pan Camp. You will explore Baines Baobabs, the Nxai Pan area and experience desert animals such as Springbok and Gemsbok as well as animals migrating from the Okavango in search of fresh grass during the rainy season
Day 9 After breakfast and a morning game drive you will be transferred by light aircraft to Maun for your onward flights
   
  Costs:  $3640 per person (based upon double accommodations) including accommodations, meals and local drinks, game activities, park and conservation fees, light laundry and light aircraft transfers.
