DAY
1 Arrive at Entebbe Airport, met by guides and continue to Kampala
to freshen up and have breakfast.
Set
off on the southbound to the escarpment overlooking the great rift valley.
Descend to the Queen Elizabeth National Park, game-viewing en-route.

Either
catch up on your sleep or go for an early morning game drive to
seek
out the wildlife. Visit the crater area for game viewing. O/N:

3 |
Excursion
to Kyambura to track chimpanzees . A boat cruise on the famous Kazinga

4 |
Leave
for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Roads permitting, drive via Ishasha, home
of tree climbing lions or drive through farmland. Time permitting go for

Gorilla
tracking in the forest (subject to permits). A tough, arduous day, but
coming face to face with the great primates is worth it. Or go for a nature
walk exploring one of Africa¹s few afro-montane forests full of birds,

Leave
for Mgahinga. From Kanaba Gap see the dramatic Virunga volcanoes in the
distance. Lunch at Travellers Rest Kisoro. Drive to Mgahinga. Take in the

Optional
Extra: (Subject to permits), Tracking gorillas in the mist. O/N: Mt. Gahinga

8 |
Either
visit the emerald green Lake Mutanda. Take a canoe ride and relax at Volcanoes
private island. Or start for Muko on Lake Bunyonyi, take a boat to arrive
for a late lunch. Afternoon walk in Kabale or near lake
shore.

Return
to Kampala, lunch en route. Time allowing, go for a guided tour of
Kampala, a city spread out on green hills with a quaint mixture of Anglo-Indian

Visit
the Source of the mighty River Nile at Jinja, where the Central African
waters start on their way to the Med. Packed lunch. For the courageous,
optional half day rafting on the Nile. For the lazy, an
afternoon¹s
snooze by the river. Return to Entebbe via Kampala, freshen up and
transfer to airport. |
