We mention a few of the more affordable places in the inner
Islands of the Seychelles. They are selected because they
offer charm and value in excellent locations on fine beaches.
The Hotel du Café des Arts is a small and intimate establishment
of 5 rooms and an art gallery located on the beautiful Côte d’Or
beach, offering safe swimming for all the family all year round.
Created by two artists, it is unique by virtue of its style and
the fine craftsmanship that characterizes its decor.
Each room is very large and built in local materials: hardwoods,
coconut and bamboo; each is equipped with shower, private
verandah, and king-size bed. The rooms are situated in tropical
gardens. A small garden area where the client can have
breakfast, is directly on the beach. It looks over emerald
waters towards St.Pierre islet. Dinner can be taken at the
hotel, or in the nearby Côte d’Or village, which also
offers diving, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling and excursions to
neighboring islands.
A delightful small lodge on the North end of La Digue Island . From its hillside
location the rooms command breathtaking, panoramic views over
distant Coco, Sisters and Félicité islands. The rooms have a
private balcony and are comfortably furnished with local woods
and fabrics.
The hotel restaurant offers international and
delicious Creole cuisine. Regular live entertainment is provided
on a weekly basis.
La Digue sland Lodge,
is large and luxurious, offering a variety of accommodation
styles, all by the beach at Anse Réunion.
There are a total of 69 rooms, 9 of which are contained within
the attractive colonial Yellow House, which was built in the
early 1900s and is a National Heritage
buildings.
The thatched chalets, have been carefully arranged amidst the lush
vegetation of a tropical garden and some have direct access to

Anse Soleil Beachcomber - Mahé
This is one of the few charming
small beachfront hotels on Mahe. With 14-rooms it is
situated on the exquisite beach of Anse Soleil in south-west
Mahé, offering excellent swimming and snorkelling at all
tides. The hotel has 5 standard rooms, 5 superior rooms and 4
Premier rooms each with well-appointed facilities, private
