| Camp Moremi is
is principally a land camp located in the Moremi Wildlife Reserve overlooking
the Xakanaxa Lagoon, a body of permanent water noted for its birdlife.
Luxurious facilities are provide relaxation after game-viewing activities.
The Moremi reserve offers the highest density of wildlife of anywhere in
Africa, and is an excellent location for lion, elephant, and various buck
including the imposing kudu and exquisite sable antelope. Game is viewed
on drives conducted by open landrover, and from a hide on the lagoon. There
is excellent birding, including powerboat visits to the heronries on Gadikwe
Lagoon, and you can fish for the plump Okavango bream. |
