Matetsi Water Lodge consists of three individual and intimate camps of six air-conditioned suites, each with a plunge pool, en suite bathroom and private river verandah. The teak doors of each room swing open to command views of the watery vista outsidei. Whether enjoying a bath, outdoor shower or lazing beside  your private plunge pool, the sights, sounds and magic of the river valley fill your private paradise. Superlative cuisine is prepared by accomplished chefs and served on the intimate riverside dining decks under the giant trees that envelope the camp or in the red dawn halo of a bush-breakfast.

Matetsi Safari Camp is located at the edge of open grassland abounding with wildlife.  Old-world sophistication infuses the 24 twin-bedded tents with en-suite facilties. There is nothing quite like the romance of sleeping under cream canvas amidst the nocturnal chorus of wild Africa, with the comforts of  modern luxuries such as solid teak and glass structure, en suite bathroom and air-conditioning. The interiors are immaculate, inset with details reminiscent of the elegant travelling safaris, such as copper hand basins and leather folding chairs. Teak-framed French doors afford magnificent all-round views of the gently sloping valley that stretches towards the Zambezi and the forests of enormous teak and large-leaf "false" mopane trees.
